Meet Our Priest

Fr. Demetre J. Mott

Father Demetrios J. Mott is the Presiding Priest and Pastor of the Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church in Naples Florida.  He was installed by His Eminence Metropolitan Alexios in January of 2021 after serving as the Presiding Priest of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Woburn Massachusetts. Fr. Demetre completed graduate degrees with highest distinction at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology and the University of Massachusetts in Administration.

During his time in the Metropolis of Boston, Fr. Demetre served as Vice President of the Clergy Syndesmos and was appointed Adjunct Professor of Byzantine Ecclesiastical Music at Hellenic College/Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology.

Fr. Demetre and Presvytera Natalie are blessed with three children, Nicholas, Eliana, and Luke.

Priestly Ministry

Father Demetre is available to parishioners on a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week basis.  In addition to regular hospital and nursing home calls, house visits to share the sacraments with the homebound, church services and regular office hours, he is available by appointment for special services such as house blessings.

Members of our parish are encouraged to seek out Father Demetre whenever they are experiencing any personal or family difficulties, have questions, or need some service or help.
